Letter 1900, March 7, New York City to Mr. Edwin Markham, [Staten Island] / New York Journal. 1900.

Mr. Block thanks him for sending "The Reapers" and for the proof of "The Man with the Hoe". He tells him that they agreed on 2 weeks for the Easter poem. He askes if would like to send a copy of his book to W.J. Bryan. Mr. Block had sent Mr. Bryan a proof of it, since he didn't have one yet. Mr. Bryan's article comes out next week.
